Our facility is located in Mentor, Ohio. Easily accessible from
Route 90 or Route 2, GriffonRawl is within easy driving distance
from anywhere in greater Cleveland.
Team
Shop: We boast a full line of products housed at
GriffonRawl for any style of training you choose and beyond! Board
shorts, hand wraps, MMA gloves, team T-shirts, boxing gloves, shin
pads, magazines and rash guards are just a few of the many items
available.
Striking
Station: We have a permanent 20'*20' Boxing ring. Used for
Muay Thai and Boxing, this official sized ring is used for drilling
and sparring. Speed bags, heavy bags, slip bags and a double-end bag
compliment the striking portion of the academy.
Cage
Station: A 20'*20' MMA Cage is the focal point. A
state-of-the-art, official professional MMA cage is used primarily
for MMA sparring, takedown and takedown defense practice and
grappling sessions. What better way to prepare yourself for
competition than to train where you will be fighting? This is the
actual cage utilized by NAAFS Cage Fighting.
Open
mat space: We offer nearly 1200 square feet of Zebra mats
with full length banana bags lining the mat. All instructional
classes are conducted here allowing amble space for group classes,
free-style grappling, striking drills, takedowns and much more!
Odds
and ends: Everything needed to build the complete fighter
is found at GriffonRawl. Whether you choose an individual program or
are interested in all aspects of martial arts, we have the facility
for you! Medicine balls, a climbing rope, chin up bars, MMA ground
and pound bags, and hand weights add to your training. When the
workout is done, mens and womens shower facilities are available.
Bleacher
seating: Parents, friends, and family are welcomed and
encouraged to watch any training session. Bleacher seating allows a
comfortable area to view classes whether you're interested in
learning about the programs, or watching a friend or loved one.
